Miracle On 41

When a semi slams into the back of a local farmer's tractor, the situation

turns very ugly, very quickly. The accident pinned a 5-year-old boy under the tractor. The Kentland Fire Department was called to quickly and carefully extricate

the young boy and help prepare him for an air-medical flight to a waiting

medical facility. The boy's father (who was driving the tractor) and

the truck driver were not seriously injured.

Rolled and Cold

Snow and speed never mix well, and when they do,

the consequences can be almost fatal. Two local

teens lose control of their pick-up and roll it into a field.

One teen was ejected and the other was injured as well.

Field Fire

There was a small "field fire" right next to the airport Thursday afternoon.

One of the combines kept harvesting the corn,
even though he kept running over the fire with his combine.

One of the combines was smoking.
